The Islip School District proudly recognized student achievement at its January Board of Education meeting during the annual Night of Champions, a celebration honoring excellence both on the field and in the classroom.

This special evening highlighted students who have gone above and beyond, demonstrating dedication, perseverance, and a commitment to excellence in academics and athletics. Among the academic honorees were students recognized for outstanding performance in Advanced Placement and national academic programs, including:

• AP Capstone
• AP Research (Honors Research & Seminar)
• AP Capstone Diploma and Certificate recipients
• National Merit Scholarship honorees
