ParentSquare
All schools in our district use ParentSquare for school communication primarily with email, text, and app notifications.
ParentSquare automatically syncs with our student information system to generate an account for each parent, using their preferred email address and phone number. We encourage parents to access their accounts so they can download the mobile app and update their preferences on when and how they are notified.
ParentSquare is a safe, secure, and modern approach to communication and collaboration between school and home. Learn more and get started today by viewing our ParentSquare web page.

On behalf of the Islip High School (IHS) leadership team, I would like to welcome you to our school and to emphasize how excited we are to partner with you this school year. Together with our faculty and staff, we look forward to providing the best possible high school experience for all of our students. We encourage students to engage fully in their courses and to seek a balance between the academic challenge and the support that they need to be successful throughout the 2026-2027 school year. At IHS, we are dedicated to promoting a growth mindset approach to teaching and learning consistent with our District vision. We hope that students will take advantage of extra help with their teachers and opportunities to meet with their school counselor and support staff as they navigate their high school years.
